Our society rests on critical infrastructure providing clean water for drinking, transport links that bring food from farm to store and electricity to power homes and hospitals.
I think these two statements contradict each other, unless I'm misunderstanding:

> Russia spent 1.5 years inside Ukraine’s electrical grid before executing a coordinated strike in 30 minutes.
(FWIW: I believe it's >6 months not 1.5 years.)
