That's very interesting. I've read Lennart Heim's "Introduction to Compute Governance" and I thought "hey, we have a solution to actually control AI from being used by bad actors" but now, after reading this, I believe compute governance is, not impossible, but hard.
I'm very interested on AI and even if it's hard for me to think ASI will wipe all humans on earth, sometimes I wonder how that world would be... No humans, but other animals, and plants, and the sound of datacenters running everywhere. And an ASI doing... I don't know what, probably waiting for instructions from someone that's no longer there...
